Wizard Top Ten writer, Eisner Award winner, and all-around nice guy Brian K. Vaughan (Y: The Last Man; Ex Machina; Runaways) once again sets our acclaimed creative team on The Escapists!

In the comic-within-a-comic, Jason Alexander (Damn Nation, The Secret) brings Max and Case's gritty new vision of the Escapist to life as samurai-wielding female warriors take Luna Moth hostage. Silence may be golden, but why do these beautiful assassins have their mouths sewn shut?! And what isn't Luna Moth telling her would-be rescuer?

Back in the real world, artist Steve Rolston (Queen & Country, One Bad Day) depicts the growing irritability between Max, Case, and Denny as our heroes go up against the worst villain of all time--a high-powered corporate lawyer!
